About

Emily Murphy

 LCSW

Emily works with individuals ages 8 and up, supporting children, teens, and families navigating ADHD, mood and behavior disorders, life transitions, trauma, and grief. She is passionate about helping children better understand what they are feeling and experiencing, especially during seasons of life that may feel confusing or overwhelming.

Emily believes that building a strong relationship with the entire family is an important part of helping children overcome challenges and reach their goals in all areas of life. Her approach is client-centered and solution-focused, meeting each individual where they are while creating a supportive and encouraging environment for growth and healing.

Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, Emily helps clients identify areas they want to work on and develop practical tools and strategies for everyday life. She believes it is never too late to seek support and that gaining a different perspective or extra guidance can make a lasting impact.
