Nissa Ziglar

Nissa Ziglar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who brings over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents in elementary, middle, and high school settings. She works with clients ages 5–18 and has supported young people through a wide range of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Nissa has experience helping children and teens navigate concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger management, peer and family conflict, trauma, and grief. She is especially passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their emotions.
Using a developmentally appropriate, strengths-based approach, Nissa helps clients build coping skills, improve communication, and develop healthier ways to manage life’s challenges. Her work is grounded in empathy and connection, allowing her to build strong, trusting relationships while supporting each client’s emotional growth and resilience.
Nissa utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support the well-being of her clients.

Education
Nissa completed her undergraduate and graduate training in social work, building a strong foundation for her work with children and adolescents in both school and clinical settings.
